Lessons and Events

I offer 30-, 45-, and 60-minute weekly lessons, depending on the student’s age and level.  Lessons are available Monday through Saturday either in person or remotely through Zoom.

With each lesson, we explore piano technique, sight-reading, repertoire, music theory and history, and more.  Through cultivating music knowledge and appreciation, my students learn and practice life skills such as patience, perseverance, problem solving, creativity, and how to move slowly and confidently in our current fast-paced world.   They learn to embrace the process and be patient while they grow.   They learn to focus on their own progress and always measure themselves against where they started.

I teach at-home lessons in and around northern Orange County (California), as well as remote lessons.  The benefits of remote lessons include a safe teaching format in case of COVID-19 or other contagious illness, as well as being able to offer lessons to students outside my immediate area.  (If students move away, remote lessons allow us to continue lessons!)

My monthly lesson rates are as follows:

Remote and in-studio*:

• 30 minutes:  $125

• 45 minutes:  $190

• 60 minutes:  $250

At-home:

• 30 minutes:  $190

• 45 minutes:  $255

• 60 minutes:  $315

*Due to my current schedule and the high demand of at-home lessons, remote and in-studio lessons are limited.  Remote lessons are still available as a substitute during illness.
